David Roy is a country artist who sounds like he’s lived every word he sings. Raised on the working-class grit of Western Canada and shaped by dive bars and long nights on the open highway, Roy delivers timeless country music with honesty and heart. His songs blend traditional storytelling with a raw, lived-in voice that rings true.

Before stepping into his country persona, Roy made noise in the rock scene through the Dave Spivak Project — loud, raw, and unfiltered. But somewhere between the distortion and the miles, the influence of legends like Billy Joe Shaver and Merle Haggard took hold, pulling him toward a more honest, stripped-down sound.

David’s first country single ‘She Don’t Like The Way I Cry’ released on July 12/26 to critical acclaim
