The most experienced sports entertainer on the ship, Pat Patterson was the feature attraction of a cruise as far back as 1977! He was, at the time, the biggest Wrestling Superstar on the West Coast and the US Champion in San Francisco for Big Time Wrestling.
Originally from Montreal, Pat traveled from territory to territory to become one of the best wrestlers in the world by the early 1980's. He would at that point headline Madison Square Garden four times in a row against Bob Backlund for the WWWF world championship. It’s a record that still stands today.
Pat also became the first ever Intercontinental champion of all time - a championship Chris Jericho has the record for holding, nine times over the course of his career.
He would then move behind the scenes to become the right hand man of Vince McMahon in the national expansion of the WWE in the mid 1980’s.
Trusted by everyone, he would help define the career of such legendary wrestlers as Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels, among others.
He became a member of the WWE Hall of Fame in 1996.
Still gifted with some of the best timing and mannerisms of the industry, he went on to seduce another generation of fans during the attitude era as one of the villainous stooges of Mister McMahon with Gerry Brisco.
In 2016, he released his memoirs, Accepted, that will be available for purchase on the ship. Finally free, he’s tremendously proud of the book.
Today, he enjoys more freedom as a consultant with the WWE, but he still likes to entertain and that’s why he will be more than happy to sing and host a night of Karaoke during the Chris Jericho Rock “N” Wrestling Rager at Sea.
